100° in NYC  oh my......How to beat the heat!

 

Now this one is so obvious. Staying hydrated during the sweltering heat is essential!

***Tip...take a shower before you go to bed. That combined with a fan or air conditioner will wash your summertime blues away!

I'm not a big Starbucks drinker, but in NYC there is one on every corner and they all stay super cold even in the hottest parts of the summer! Starbucks is a good place to take your lunch break on a day when the weather is 100°F!

 

What you eat can also affect your body temperature. Stay away from alcohol and caffine and of course any foods that are heavy such as burgers and red meats.  Go for a Sushi/Sashimi cuisine.
